We are looking for an Organisational Development, Talent and Capability Manager to join our close-knit People and Culture team and play a pivotal role in our commitment to learning, innovation, and cultivating leadership that upholds our values.
About the role
The Manager of Organisational Development, Capability, and Talent is responsible for providing contemporary organisational development leadership and thinking, capability development and execution to successfully deliver on our current and future business strategy and desired high-performance culture, to achieve our goal of having the best trained talent in the Construction Industry.
Key responsibilities
- Drive Kapitol’s learning culture, including the development of key technical, professional and leadership skills required to support our business strategy and desired culture.
- Support the business with assessing capability and provision of advice on appropriate ‘fit for purpose’ solutions to their key capability needs through the identification, implementation and delivery of high-quality training and development initiatives
- Partner with the business to strengthen the depth and diversity of talent and succession pipelines for key roles through an effective Talent and Succession Management framework and oversee the delivery of related initiatives such as key talent programs.
- Manage Kapitol’s talent sourcing and recruitment model to ensure it meets the needs of hiring managers; provides a positive candidate experience; is value-adding; and integrates talent management. In collaboration with P&C Business Partners, ensure recruitment meets our D&I objectives
- Translate business requirements into effective organisational learning activities that deliver organisational capability solutions aligned to business objectives
- Ownership and evolution of the ‘Kapitol Training Hour’ and existing ‘Continuous Learning Improvement Program (CLIP) to ensure high quality, fit for purpose learning outcomes to achieve our organisational vision.
- Oversee development of the Graduate and Early Career Program to attract and develop the highest quality Graduates within the sector and differentiate Kapitol through a market offering of the best available graduate Program in the industry
- Support Leadership and Team Development through various mechanisms including external facilitation, internal support, professional coaching and mentoring and coordination of Company Retreats
About you
You will be a proven leader of a high performing team with a Strong background in designing and governing end-to-end elements of learning and development; talent, leadership and succession; and employee engagement strategies. You will have a proven track record of excelling in an innovative and entrepreneurial environment with excellent communication and presentation skills.
